Yes. We support individuals across Pakistan and South Asian communities abroad. Our culturally-aware approach is built for people who want a therapist who understands both their culture and their emotions — not one without the other.

Trauma, anxiety, burnout, OCD, complex PTSD, emotional overwhelm, relationship and in-law difficulties, identity concerns, caregiving stress, and major life transitions. Alongside individual therapy, we also run therapist-led support groups and free community webinars.

Yes. Our supervisor Minal Aftab Butt leads couples therapy work — helping couples navigate communication breakdowns, in-law dynamics, and rebuilding trust. Sessions are grounded in evidence-based practice and shaped around the realities of relationships in our communities.

CCTP was founded by clinical psychologist Amna Arshad and includes a team of senior and associate clinical psychologists trained at institutions including NUST, UCL and Kinnaird College, with experience across Pakistan and the UK's NHS and non-profit sector.

A Note from the Founder
"When I started CCTP, my hope was simple — that people in our communities would not have to struggle alone while searching for the right kind of support."

I had seen how many individuals were unable to find therapy that felt accessible, culturally informed, and trauma-aware. CCTP began as an effort to help bridge that gap — between people and the support they were already seeking, but could not easily reach.

Over time, this space has grown into a team of psychologists and community members working together to make mental health support more reachable and more meaningful. We are still growing, with that same intention.
